Notes from readers. Part two. 4/4

“After all, it’s hard to truly understand the depth of something until you’ve been there.” —Britney King, A Secret Project

This week I thought I’d keep it on the lighter side, given the depth of the last three letters. The following are just three of hundreds that have made me smile. I love hearing about readers tastes, everyone is so different, which I find interesting. Lastly, I’d like to say thanks to those of you who have taken the time to reach out. It’s so fun to read what you have to say and it always means more than you probably think it does.

And, while no official announcements have been made, and plans are still tentative, it is because of you and your thoughts that I will continue writing more of what you’re looking to read. xo

Britney,
Just wanted you to know how much I love your writing. I am currently reading Dead in the Water…the second in your Water trilogy. I picked them up in iBooks. It’s so refreshing to read something that is not your typical “boy meets girl” fluff.  It’s amazing how we care about your characters….as twisted and disturbing, as they are. Their love for one is oddly touching, and makes for a juicy read.

Hello Ms. King!
Just read WUTB for the first time. And I’m very glad I did! I ended up purchasing the next 2 sequels of the trilogy on Amazon and I’m obsessed with the characters of Jude and Kate! It is a sexy, unpredictable romance and very different from the typical mushy, repetitive love story often depicted in romance novels. Also, the love scenes are sensual and not over the top to the point where it gets annoying. But… I must admit my inner pervert craves more details re: Jude lol. Love the suspense and strong characters but especially the cunning nature of Kate who always surprises us! Keep up the amazing work! Can’t wait to start the 2nd book immediately. 🙂

Hi Britney,
I am currently reading your Water Under The Bridge and I think it’s the most beautiful creation known to man. I do thank you and hope you continue to write the beautiful works that you do.
Again, thank you.
